Description
I came across an Indian sculpture of a goddess called Kali. She is said to have black skin, and wear the chopped up bodies of demons she has killed. I believe from what I have read, is that she embodies war and destruction. I used the sculpture as a reference. I used pen and ink on drawing paper, I also used an ink wash.

She does not embody war and destruction in the least bit.
If you did your research, Kali is the dark mother. The one who frees all of her "children" from the self-centered perception of reality, bringing them out of the illusion of life and into "eternity".
The skulls she wears around her neck are the skulls of the children she has "freed" from the illusion.
